Fried meatballs in a rich
tomato sauce

(3 servings)

1/2 jar of Refogado

300g of meatballs

400g of passata or tomato sauce

2 tbsp of our Pimenta sauce

3 tbsp of olive oil

100ml of water

Salt and pepper


Method:

Add olive oil to a non-stick frying pan. Fry the meatballs adding salt and pepper. Fry until nice and lightly brown all over. Remove the meatballs from the pan.

Shake the Refogado sauce and add half the jar to the pan. The rest you can keep in the fridge for another recipe.

Heat the sauce for 3 minutes and add passata or tomato sauce. Cook for 1 minute and then add the meatballs to the pan. Add the water and our Pimenta sauce. Cover with a lid and cook for 3 minutes.

Serve with your favourite pasta, bread or polenta.

Seafood Moqueca

(4 servings)

1 jar of Moqueca

400g cod loin

20 mussels

200g of peeled and deveined prawns

1 lobster tail

Chopped coriander or spring onion for garnish

Salt and pepper

150ml of water


Method:

Shake the Moqueca sauce and pour it in a skillet on a medium heat.

Heat the sauce. Add the fish, lobster, prawns and mussels. Add some salt and pepper over the fish and seafood. Add the water and place the lid on. Cook for 5 minutes. Add chopped coriander.

Serve with rice and our Pimenta sauce on the side.
